Frequently Asked Questions.
How does it work?
How does Pill Pack work?
We pack your medication in small plastic sachets we call packettes. Each packette contains the medicine for a particular date and time. Every four weeks we deliver a new Pill Pack to you. That means you take the right medicine at the right time, every time.
Who is this service available for?
This service is available for anyone who takes medication. It’s designed to make managing medicines easier.
What about medicines that I don’t take at regular intervals? Can these be packed?
If you take medication at irregular intervals, it is best not to pack them. We can send you the medication in its original packaging which allows you to take it when you need it, according to your doctor’s directions. When you run out and need it again, call or email us and we can send a new pack in your next order.
Are there any medicines that cannot be packed?
Most medication can be packed into your Pill Pack. We obviously cannot pack creams and inhalers. However, we can include them in the parcel we deliver to you each month. We don’t pack controlled drugs or items requiring refrigeration. There are a few other medications that for various reasons, cannot be packed. Our pharmacists will always advise you if your medication is not suitable to be packed. Some items can be manually hand packed by our team. If your medicine is hand packed, there may be additional charges.
Will I receive a reminder to re-order?
No, there is no need. Once we have received your prescriptions, we will automatically send you your Pill Pack every month.

I don’t have a Medicare Card, does this matter?
For some prescriptions, it will not make a difference whether you have a Medicare Card or not. If a medication costs $38.30 (sometimes a little more) it may be subsidised by the government and a Medicare Card could make a difference to reduce the price. We will let you know if this is the case. To access concession pricing you will need a Medicare and Concession Card.
How and when do I pay for my medicine?
You can pay by credit card. When you are due to pay for your medication, we will email you an electronic invoice which you can pay over the internet. It is very important to make payment soon after we send the invoice to prevent delays in receiving your medication. We will not deliver your medication until it has been paid for.
